I sort of made the chocolate covered strawberries on a whim. I know, that sounds strange right? I had gotten a deal on a huge basket of strawberries, so I though, eh, why not?
Chocolate covered strawberries:
1. Wash strawberries and pat dry. Set aside.
2. In a double boiler melt the baking chocolate and butter together. Add the maple syrup and mix well. Turn off heat.
3. Dip strawberries to coat the bottom 2/3 of the strawberry with chocolate and place on a plate with wax paper. Refrigerate strawberries until chocolate has hardened.
