Kristen Michaelis of the Food Renegade blog is releasing her first published book entitled ‘Beautiful Babies: Nutrition for Fertility, Pregnancy, Breastfeeding, & Baby’s First Foods.’ It’s an invaluable resource for pregnant women, mothers and those trying to conceive. Beautiful Babies will teach you about:

• How to heal your gut so that you don’t pass on digestive issues to your baby
• Foods that cause infertility like canola oil, low-fat dairy and soy
• How to get the BEST quality food for your family with little money
• Why the common child nutritional recommendations are backwards
• How to avoid ear infections, glasses, allergies and braces in your child
• How to have success with breastfeeding
• How to lose the weight right after the baby is born
• How to avoid morning sickness, stretch marks and pain during childbirth
And the best part is that if you pre-order Beautiful Babies before March 18th, you can get FREE enrollment in Michaelis’ Beautiful Babies e-course (normally $199). Right now the book is less that $16, so that’s a $199 value for less than $16!
Many people have had successful pregnancies after taking Michaelis’ e-course:
“I want to thank you a hundred times over for the ‘Beautiful Babies’ e-course. I followed the recommendations that you made and I had a healthy, complication-free pregnancy and birth. I didn’t get any stretch marks, varicose veins, no swelling, no pre-eclampsia, etc. I had a water birth with no complications, and I didn’t use any painkillers or any drugs! I left the ‘birthing center’ the same day. I couldn’t be happier! Just 1.5 weeks after giving birth and I can fit into my pre-pregnancy clothes.”

Beautiful Babies Review:
I’ve been a fan of the Food Renegade blog for a long. Kristen Michaelis has shared so much insightful information over the years, so I was so glad to hear that she is releasing her first print book Beautiful Babies. It is an integral resource for those who are hoping to conceive, pregnant, nursing or raising a baby. Along with outlining optimal nutrition for conception and growing babies, she includes real food recipes, information on deciphering food labels and tips for eating real food on a budget.
Beautiful Babies teaches us that what you eat affects your baby in every way. It affects whether or not your child will need glasses, braces, have chronic health problems like ear infections, and it even affects the development of the shape of the face and whether there will be enough room for evenly spaced teeth and tonsils.
Maybe you are trying to conceive? Beautiful Babies is full of invaluable information regarding fertility that your doctor doesn’t even know about. For example, did you know that things like canola oil, low-fat dairy and an imbalance of omega-6 and omega-3 fatty acids cause a higher rate of infertility. Michaelis outlines the ideal diet to increase fertility. Not only is the book an important resource, but if you pre-order beautiful babies before March 18th, you’ll receive free enrollment in Michaelis’ Beautiful Babies e-course (usually $199) which will get you her specific guidance.
If you are already pregnant, this book can help you have a smooth pregnancy by teaching you how to avoid morning sickness, junk food cravings and stretch marks.
This book is not only valuable to pregnant women. Most of the nutritional information will benefit anyone. I don’t have children and don’t plan on getting pregnant for at least a few years, but I’ve learned so much information that I will use in my life now. For example, from reading Beautiful Babies I learned that MSG is often hidden in packaged food as ‘spices’, ‘brewers yeast’ and other names that are listed in this book! Did you know that our brains respond so much to the color of food that it can actually override the flavor? People given cheetos without the bright orange coloring said that it tasted bland.
I’ve already learned so much from this book and know that it will be my go-to when I decide to have kids. Even the modern day pioneer of sustainable farming Joel Salatin said “I wish this book had been around when my wife, Teresa, and I were starting our family.”
