Here’s the final Paleo meal plan for July! There are lots of new delicious recipes from some of my favorite bloggers featured in this one, so you don’t want to miss out!
I’ve gotten some emails from a few subscribers who mentioned that you want to go paleo to hopefully address some issues that you’ve been having. Of course, as I mentioned in my last email, not everybody wants to or needs to go paleo. Something that I’ve learned through years of experience and through studying for my nutritionist certification is that our bodies are all different and respond uniquely to different diets and supplements. However, most can agree that everyone does better with less processed foods and more homemade whole foods!
My mission is to help you move towards whole foods and quality ingredients (especially quality meats and organics!).However, the paleo diet does have a number of great benefits. So I want to talk a little bit about how going paleo has helped me personally.
How Going Paleo Helped Me
Going paleo helped me in a number of ways, but I think one of the biggest changes that I noticed was less sugar cravings, less blood sugar roller coasters and less constant hunger. This was great for me since blood sugar fluctuations used to run my life! I used to feel starving every 2 hours and it made it so hard to do anything. I realized the low protein/high carb vegetarian diet was contributing to the constant hunger and blood sugar fluctuations, so going paleo helped me a lot in that respect!
You can also check out my post about why I stopped being vegetarian and started eating pasture raised meats. This post goes into a lot more detail about my difficult transition and why the foods that I used to eat contributed to blood sugar fluctuations and constant hunger.
