  1. OM-YUM! I’ve made a lot of different GF cookie recipes in 2+ years, but these are now in my top 2 rotation! I used 1/3 C Truvia, as that’s what I use for sweetener…Awesome! Thanks for a great recipe! 🙂

  2. These cookies are so yummy! They turned out great even at high altitude(I live at 7800′). Thanks for sharing!!

  3. Made these the other day and they were delicious! Added a little pecan flour too. I’m about to make them again with salted pecans and white chocolate. Thanks for sharing!

  4. Is it 1/2 cup melted coconut oil? Or just out of the jar coconut oil? My cookies were great but slightly soft and oily

    1. Probably not. It would change the texture to use a wet ingredient in place of a dry ingredient.

      1. yes! I made these last night, and I tried it with honey because I didn’t have any coconut flour on hand. Instead of using the same amount of honey to substitute the coconut sugar, I used about a 1/3 cup without filling it to the top completely. It worked out great, although I think they were definitely a bit chewier than if sugar had been used. But still very delicious nonetheless. Thank you for the wonderful recipe (:

  5. These cookies are TO DIE FOR! Thank you so so much for sharing this recipe!
After nearly one year of failed GF cookie recipes, I’m so glad you posted this keeper. I know that this is my new go-to choc chip cookie recipe when the husband tells me I can stop trying other recipes because he only wants me to make this one henceforth. If you like soft cookies, this recipe is IT.
I used light brown sugar and reduced it to 1/2 cup instead of 3/4 cup. I also used the electric hand mixer to cream my liquid ingredients together really well before adding the dry ingredients. The flavor and texture is just like “real” cookies! 🙂

    1. (Clarification: after me trying out a variety of GF cookie recipes for nearly the past year, and all of those recipes being failures, I’m glad I found yours- which is a keeper!)

  6. I’m allergic to tree nuts – except for peanuts and coconut. I wonder if I could substitute peanut flour for coconut flour….

      1. I haven’t used peanut flour before. If you try it let us know how it turns out!

  7. Hi Hannah!

These look wonderful. I agree with you on combining the two flours. I love the texture it brings. I can’t wait to try your recipe.

I have a question are these a crispy cookie or a chewy cookie?

    1. These are a more chewy variety, but with a slight crisp on the outside 🙂
