I’m Hannah Healy and I run the food and health blog HealyEatsReal.com. I live in the San Francisco Bay Area of California with my fiance Victor and little dog Lentil.

When I first graduated from college several years ago I got a job as a receptionist in an office. There is really no nice way to say this, but i hated my job... I absolutely, positively hated it. I used to drive to work and just fantasize about running away...just taking a different turn on my way to work and driving off in the distance to some unknown town. I know it sounds crazy, but that’s how much I hated my job...so i figured if I’m that unhappy I should do something else even if it means less money.

So I decided to become a dog walker. There were a lot of things that I liked about that job, but the pay was not one of them. I was not making enough to really live the life of my dreams and never would at that position. So then I learned about blogging for a living and went into that...and let me tell you that seemed like a dream job at first and I still love it, but it is a TON of work in order to really make a good living from it. Whoever says it’s passive income is sorely mistaken... most full time bloggers I know work ALL THE TIME. Sure can they make good money, but at what cost? I was burning the candle at both ends working crazy hours and not earning enough for it to be worth it. It was even taking a toll on my stress levels and my health. This is where I was right before I decided to get started with Young Living. I was mentally, physically and emotionally exhausted. What I really wanted was FREEDOM. Financial freedom and time freedom.

At first I was skeptical that this was the opportunity for me. I thought that it wasn’t a good time for me to get started, but as soon as I saw so many of my friends around me starting to make a real income from this...5 figures a month, 6 figures a year and eventually 7 figures a year with this business I knew I needed to jump in. I thought, if they can do it so can I!

So I got started and in my first month I earned back my initial investment right away. In my second month, I more than tripled my earnings and by my 4th month I already got my first nearly $1,000 check. Within 6 months I reached the first leadership position and really started to create a team and a real business. Now that I’ve been working my Young Living business for a couple years, I can honestly say it’s the best decision I’ve ever made.
