Spiced Pumpkin Seed Butter Recipe

Spiced Pumpkin Seed Butter
EQUIPMENT
- 1 Food processor
Ingredients
- 2 cups raw pumpkin seeds
- 2 tbsps pumpkin pie spice
- 1/4 tsp sea salt
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 3 drops liquid stevia or 1 tbsp honey (optional)
- 1/2 cup pumpkin purée (optional)
Instructions
- Add 2 cups of pumpkin seeds to a food processor, then turn on. Stop every couple of minutes to scrape down the sides of the food processor. It will take several minutes to process the seeds into butter.
- After about 5-10 minutes, the pumpkin seeds will have turned into butter. Add the pumpkin pie spice, salt, and vanilla extract. If you want it to be sweeter, add the optional stevia or honey here. For an even more pumpkin-like flavor you can also add optional purée. The pumpkin purée may cause the butter to thicken.
- Once you've added the extras, close the food processor, and blend. Store in the fridge and enjoy!
