Pumpkin Seed Butter Vegan

I made this delicious spiced pumpkin seed butter recipe with TheNutraMilk in just over 10 minutes. It has very minimal ingredients that are all healthy, paleo and vegan!

It makes the perfect holiday spread to put on apples, toast, crackers, waffles, celery or dried fruit. You can use it for a savory addition on leftover thanksgiving turkey or just eat it by the spoonful!

What Is The NutraMilk?

For this recipe I used The NutraMilk, a brand new kitchen appliance that allows you to make super easy nut/seed milks and butters in 7-12 minutes!

It was super easy to make and it’s all automatic. You just refer to the chart that the NutraMilk provides for how many minutes to set your specific nut or seed for, then press start. There’s no opening the machine to scrape down the sides, there’s no messy nut milk bags or anything. I can’t wait to experiment with it more! Next on my list to make is cashew butter…my favorite!

I thought maybe cleaning it would be a big task, but it actually wasn’t. There’s just a few parts and they all come off easily to clean. I love that I can save money and make my own nut butters and milks instead of buying them. I can also avoid all the nasty additives, emulsifiers and thickeners they always add to store bought dairy free milks. Sometimes those additives don’t agree with my digestive system!

There is nothing like The NutraMilk out there right now! It’s so versatile and unique and every kitchen needs it, especially if you regularly buy or make any nut/seed butters or dairy-free milks. It can make 67 oz. of dairy free milk or 26 oz. of nut/seed butter at a time

The NutraMilk is super easy to use, making it simple for anyone to create their own fresh alternative milks and butters in their own kitchen.

Pre-order now through 12/8 and use NUTRAMILK50 for $50 off MSRP and receive a free bonus storage container! Units will ship at the end of November” (while supplies last)

Ingredients
  • 2 cups raw pumpkin seeds
  • 2 tbsps pumpkin pie spice
  • 1/4 tsp sea salt
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 3 drops liquid stevia or 1 tbsp honey (optional)
  • 1/2 cup pumpkin purée (optional)
Instructions
  1. Add 2 cups pumpkin seeds to The NutraMilk, press the butter button and select 10 minutes, then press start.
  2. After 10 minutes, the pumpkin seeds will have turned into butter. Add the pumpkin pie spice, salt and vanilla extract. If you want it to be sweeter add the optional stevia or honey here. For an even more pumpkin-like flavor you can also add optional purée. The pumpkin purée may cause the butter to thicken.
  3. Once you've added the extras, close The NutraMilk, press mix and select 2 minutes, then press start. Store in the fridge and enjoy!

Instead of the NutraMilk, can I use a regular blender? How about a food processor?
